Jubilee Mills offers a varied range of groundworks and building services to ensure your farm or estate runs smoothly and to help you diversify, develop or improve your agricultural business.

Ground work services include:

Landscaping

We have carried out landscaping projects for both the residential and commercial sectors. These include bulk excavation and grading works, roads and car parks, turfing and seeding, planting, flagging & paving works and fencing. These contracts have been carried out for local businesses and residents throughout North Yorkshire.

Sewage treatment and surface water control

We install both clean and foul water systems, including sewage treatment plants, certified to European Standard EN – 12566. These treatment plants offer effective solutions for both domestic and commercial applications, employing well proven aerobic biological processes for the treatment of sewage, recognised by both the Environment Agency and Local Building Control.
Other systems installed are pump stations for rising mains, effluent tanks for the catchment of fuels, chemical liquids and farm effluent, attenuation tanks and soak ways for surface water control.

Concrete

Our experience with concrete is second to none. We are experienced in all aspects of concrete works and finishes, whether it is underground reinforced concrete, above ground concrete in form work or just traditional slab works. We can advise on strength of the product, the reinforcement to structural works and also the appropriate finish to the final surface.
Another service we offer is the design and building of retaining walls and structures. We have a wealth of experience and a broad range of solutions to shore up the ground. These solutions include reinforced concrete, traditional block work, timber and gabion baskets filled with local stone.

Cattle grids

We manufacture and install cattle grids. These underground structures are made to all sizes and weights to suit the client’s needs.

Bridges can be designed and fabricated in our workshop. Depending on the location and use, we manufacture and install bridges in galvanised steel, tanalised timber or reinforced concrete. Bridges may be used for access across a ditch for agricultural vehicles, pedestrian access across a stream or access for heavy goods across a small water course up to 5 metres wide.
